PDO Threads

PDO Threads in Springfield

Treat Wrinkles & Crepey Skin

Medi Threads are small hair-like threads made of a bioabsorable synthetic material. They are used to improve the integrity of skin, toning of the tissue, address wrinkles and increase hydration of the skin.

Medi Threads are comprised of Polydioxanone (PDO). Polydioxanone is a well-used material for suture in most pediatric cardiac surgery and is a completely safe medical device as well as being completely absorbable and hypoallergenic. PDO contains no heavy metals and has no significant side effects.

PDO threads range in size, strength and purpose. PDO Threads stimulate the production of new collagen protein which results in increased elasticity and firmness of the skin.
