Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Aesthetic Med Studio is committed to maintaining compliant, transparent, and respectful communications across all text (SMS/MMS), webchat, voice, and automated messaging platforms. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules governing all outbound and inbound messaging.

Scope & Agreement

By accessing or using Aesthetic Med Studio’s messaging channels or connected platforms, you agree to comply with this policy and all applicable communication laws and industry standards. Failure to comply may result in immediate suspension or termination of messaging access.

Consent (Opt-In) Requirements

  • Explicit Consent Required: Prior to sending any messaging, clear, affirmative consent must be obtained from the recipient detailing the specific types of messages they will receive.
  • Recordkeeping: Timestamped records of opt-in consent (e.g., signed digital forms, intake logs) must be retained in accordance with local regulations, even after a client opts out.
  • Non-Transferable: Consent applies solely to Aesthetic Med Studio and cannot be sold, rented, or transferred. Purchased contact lists are strictly prohibited.
  • Inbound Inquiries: An inbound message from a client asking a specific question (e.g., inquiring about business hours) constitutes consent only for that specific conversation.
  • Transactional Messaging: Existing client relationships permit transactional communications (e.g., appointment reminders, post-care instructions, digital receipts), provided the messages contain zero promotional or marketing content.

Sender Identification & Opt-Out Protocol

  • Identify the Sender: Outbound communications must clearly identify Aesthetic Med Studio as the sender.
  • Mandatory Opt-Out Language: The initial message sent to any individual must include standard opt-out instructions (e.g., "Reply STOP to unsubscribe").
  • Immediate Revocation: If a recipient replies with standard opt-out keywords (STOP, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT), messaging must cease immediately. Only one final automated confirmation message may be delivered.

Prohibited Content & Activities

Unsolicited Marketing

Unsolicited commercial advertisements, spam, or promotional texts sent without explicit opt-in consent.

Regulated Substances

Off-label promotion or unauthorized sales of prescription drugs, controlled substances, cannabis, or CBD products.

Restricted Categories

Harassment, defamatory statements, adult content, or "SHAFT" topics (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco).

Financial & Lead Gen

High-risk financial services, debt collection, work-from-home schemes, or third-party lead generation services.

Malicious & Evasive

Phishing, software viruses, spoofed sender IDs, intentional misspellings to evade spam filters, or "snowshoeing" (distributing identical messages across multiple phone numbers).

Use of shared public URL shorteners (e.g., Bitly, TinyURL). Dedicated short links or full URLs must be used.

System Integrity & Technical Restrictions

Users may not attempt to reverse engineer messaging systems, obscure message origins, bypass security limits, or send automated spam. Excessive usage that exceeds normal operational bounds or disrupts platform infrastructure is subject to immediate throttling or termination.

Monitoring & Enforcement

Aesthetic Med Studio reserves the right to review messaging logs, investigate suspected violations, and block access to any non-compliant user or resource. Unlawful activities may be reported to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
