How Do JUVÉDERM Injections Work?
JUVÉDERM injections usually only take around 15 – 30 minutes based on how many areas are being corrected. Your skin will be cleaned, and then the injection sites will be selected. To minimize discomfort during the treatment, JUVÉDERM fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic. After your procedure, you are allowed to resume your normal routine, but strenuous activity (including exercise) should be avoided for at least 24 hours. You need to be careful not to touch your face after your injections to avoid pushing the filler into unintended areas.
