I have been on a journey of self care, self discovery for about 5 years now. I come from VERY HUMBLE beginnings. Facial routines & self care was not something ingrained into my daily habits. Almost a lifetime of insecurities & being constantly self conscious would follow. Before you know it I was a small business owner in my 40’s & while I began feeling confidence in my abilities as a small business owner; I wanted to feel more confident in my skin as well. I had tried 4 other establishments (across the country) before finding The Med Studio 2 years ago. I had no idea what self care really entailed, the products or processes I needed for my skin type.. even what my skin type was. I knew I wanted a little Botox here & filler there.. but that was about it. I found plenty of places that would sell you those items. But not one that TAUGHT ME what was best for MY SKIN, AT MY AGE, until I found Aesthetic Med Studio. The team helped to develop a plan specific to my needs & goals. They worked with me to set out the processes I would most benefit from & schedule a treatment plan. (Which also helped me budget for it.) I now know the products that work for me at home thanks to their guidance. MY SKIN LOOKS AMAZING! Once I began seeing the natural & amazing improvements still possible at my age, it motivated me in other aspects as well. I started working out & eating right. "I came in for my routine Botox and pointed out a persistent white mark on my skin that I was really hoping would fade after several CO2 laser treatments. It was still there, and I expressed how much I disliked it. Ashtyn immediately identified it as a milia and, without hesitation, offered to remove it for me.It wasn't until it was gone that I realized how much that tiny spot had been affecting how I felt about my appearance. Ashtyn listened, understood, and handled it with such care. I was really nervous to go somewhere and talk about my insecurities and what I wanted "fixed" about my face. While I was talking about what I wanted corrected (lips and nose), she made sure to point out a thing or two about the same area that was already pretty perfect. I can't really express how much I appreciated hearing genuine compliments during the whole process. It definitely made a very positive experience. Thanks to Ashtyn, by the time I left, I no longer felt like I was "fixing" a part of my face but enhancing something that was already beautiful. Edit: I've been back a few times now for some filler and botox. Ashtyn is absolutely amazing and always so helpful answering any questions or concerns.
